| I know there are a few people here running the Enkie RPF1s with 5mm spacers up front. I recently installed a set of 17x9.5 +38 wheels with a 5mm spacer and I am curious if there is enough clearance. The wheel spins and clears the caliper when spun, however, I am worried when everything heats up and expands or if the wheel flexs the spokes might contact the cailper. Currently, a credit card can barely fit in the space between the caliper and the spokes, thats a clearance of 0.030". Front calipers are cast iron so I can probably look up its expansion relative to the aluminum hub and mounting point, however, I would really like some first hand experience. Thank you.
Buy Zama Posters Here I have nightmares about that happening...I'd be the poor bastard you'd hear about on the news that gets killed by a softball-size chunk while spreading out my body over the hood and screaming "Nooo!"
